Product Description
San Marzano tomatoes are the most sought after tomato for sauces. Their meaty texture, sweet and intense flavour, lack of excess water and seeds, and a particular skin which is very easy to peel, make them ideal for creating fresh tomato sauce from scratch. They are grown in rich Italian soil, where the climate naturally ripens and nourishes these wonderful tomatoes.

Perfect for pasta sauce
These tomatoes are perfect for making pasta sauce. Just blanch in hot water, peel the tomatoes, chop or put through the blender and cook in a pan with some oil and basil. Simple, healthy, tasty

Amazingly delicious
I have tried several Natoora products and often find them overpriced and sometimes of poor quality. However, these tomatoes were fabulous. They have a firmness about them without being tough. They have a delicious flavour, and aren't watery at all. Must be the time of year to buy them. Lovely with mozzarella and basil.

Makes wonderful oven-dried tomatoes
Having read the past 2 reviews, I'm happy to say that on every occasion I've bought these wonderful tomatoes-- there have been several occasions now-- I have had great tomatoes. The last 2 packages I bought were used for oven/sun dried tomatoes which came out as good if not better than some sun dried tomatoes on the shelves today.
Thank you for your review and suggestion for sundried San Marzano tomatoes. As they have a thin skin and very few seeds we recommend using them to make a quick, full flavoured pasta sauce.

Not just for cooking
Dont keep them in the fridge, makes wonderful bruschetta, mozzarella salad and I wouldn't use them in a sauce. Maybe sliced fresh with basil, red onion and mozzarella, a splash of olive oil on your favourite pasta. Expensive but worth it.
