Cured for 3 months, the salami is encased in natural skin - a truly superior product.

80 percent not wild boar

If I buy something titled wild boar salami, I don't want to get it home and find it less than 20 percent boar and the rest is bog-standard pig. We prefer to try and buy more ethical alternatives to intensive factory farmed meat, sadly lacking in the salami selection. This seems a bit like false advertising.

Boaring?

I'm not a boar salami expert, but thought I'd try this as it sounded interesting. It doesn't taste as strong as your usual salami. It's gamey, yes, if you look for it. I didn't find it amazing with red wine. It's tasty and pleasant, yes. But I prefer their Tuscan salami, to be honest. I had 24 smallish slices, by the way - so it went a long way.

A special treat

This is a really delicious, full-flavoured salami. Not too spicy, but very meaty. It's a bit pricey for every day, but as an occasional treat, it's lovely!

very nice, very different, it's fennel is it?

it's textured like milano, but darker in colour, the flavour is also "dark", possibly the fennel, and quite gamey. very rich and full bodied flavoured salami, very different from the usual supermarket italian and french styles.
