It said that every year of a baby's life resulted in a mountain of used diapers/nappies weighing half a ton, every year. Half a ton!
Even more disturbing was the fact that the traditional diapers/nappies were mainly made of plastic made from oil! An oil product that comes in contact with the child's delicate skin. I got really upset. Couldn't this be done better?"

Prepare & Use
Disposal Instructions. To properly dispose of the pull on pants, place the pull on pants in a Naty Disposal Bag and place in the waste bin. Do not compost. Human waste contains bacteria that can contaminate water and harm the surrounding environment, including people. Harmful bacteria must be subject to high temperatures for a long time to kill them off. It can be difficult to obtain the necessary temperature in all parts of a small compost heap.
Warning: To avoid suffocation always keep unused pull on pants and packaging away from children. If you notice a gel-like material on your baby's skin don't be alarmed, this material comes from the pull on pants padding and can easily be wiped off of your baby's skin. Do not compost.

Fantastic!
Our one year old just can't lie still anymore - so, nappy changing became a struggle. These pants are fantastic, easy to pull on while standing, comfortable and leak-proof. Very pleased!

Kind to baby and the environment
We've just been through a spell of using these day and night because my 18-month-old had a sore stripe on his bum exactly where your visible panty line would be. Other disposable nappies put the elasticated bit exactly over the sore stripe and we don't use cloth nappies when he's sore but these pull-ups have a wide gusset so the elastic fits further down his thigh. The performance was pretty good, and almost as good as Pampers Active Fit at night. I bought some Huggies Little Walkers before I found these but I found that the velcro strips at the side scratched my little boy's hips. The only thing that could be better is if the sides could be opened and re-fastened like on the Huggies, but the elasticated side panels seem to be much more comfotable than Huggies' velcro version.

If they have to wear pullups, eco ones are great
I have put both my children into these at night after they came out of nappies and wanted to feel grownup at night too. They wore mostly washable nappies and it has been very frustrating not being able to find a washable nighttime pant or pullup. So was glad to put son in these and now daughter. Tried the other usual brands but dislike the total reliance on gel and the nasty smell, and besides, they leaked. Nature do leak occasionally, but I think this is inevitable sometimes with a heavy wetter son. Daughter has never leaked. Easy to pull up and down so she can do it herself on the potty at night. Other brands are too tight for them to manage. And eco-responsible - what more could you want?
