Storage
Keep refrigerated. Suitable for home freezing. This soup can be frozen, though it's best eaten fresh.
Prepare & Use
To heat. All ovens and microwaves vary so adjust these timings accordingly.
On the hob: Give the carton a good shake, open it up and pour into a saucepan. Heat gently for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, but don't let it boil.
In the microwave: Give the carton a good shake and open it up fully, then...
From the fridge. 3 minutes, then stir. Cook for a further 2 minutes, stand for 2 minutes.
From the freezer. Cook on defrost for 25 minutes, or until fully thawed, stir, then follow 'From the fridge' timings. Check the soup's piping hot before serving. Do not reheat.

Contains flour so no good for gluten intolerant!
Why add flour to thicken? I always thought Covent Garden were one of the best, but theyve not kept up with the competiiton, which is fierce now!

disgusting
i love sweet potato and butternut squash. i love soup. the two together should be great, but it wasn't. it is really really thin and tasteless. not impressed.

They should rename it 'Spicy Parsnip.'
I love butternut squash and sweet potato, but this soup doesn't taste of either to me. It's overwhelmingly parsnipy which I don't like, and has had loads of nasty herbs like cumin and coriander thrown in to completely destroy any taste. If you like that sort of thing it won't bother you, but for me it was disappointing and I had to chuck it.

Nice tasting
I actually quite liked this and I am very fussy about soups. It was a little bit watery but not too much to spoil it. Nice bit of sweetness and peppery spice.
