Organic Oat Drink

There is nothing finer than oats. Oats are a gift from nature, made for us to enjoy.
Do we exaggerate? Maybe a little, but that doesn't change the fact that oatly is a healthy and tasty alternative to soya and milk.
Oatly is free from added sugar, low in saturated fat and contains oat fibre. Oat fibre, eaten as part of a healthy diet, can help to lower your cholesterol levels.

Nice enough

Has a bit of an oaty taste. Nice enough to add to cereal for breakfast but I wouldn't say it's good for hot drinks like coffee. Not as much of an all rounder as the coconut milk alternative, but good enough to have as cold milk.

I tried hard to like this...

...as I need dairy substitutes but it tastes like water that oats have been sitting in which isn't nice!

better than the non-organic version

I have in the past tried the non-organic version of this which oddly, is exactly the same price. I wasn't too impressed with that one, it had a very strong oaty taste and a weird prickly texture that caught in the back of my throat. This one seems thicker, creamier and smoother in texture and has a far more neutral taste. I used it in a sweet potato and carrot bake that normally uses milk and it was fantastic, didn't curdle when baking as normal milk actually does and tasted lovely.

Best Night Time Drink!

This oat drink is a great bed time drink. I sweeten it with a spoon of truvia. Its heavenly and helps me sleep.

great dairy alternative

I love this product. Have been experimenting with milk alternatives and was not very impressed with the soya range. This tastes delicious - just wonderfully oaty like the milk left in the bottom of a bowl of oats and fruit. It is slightly unusual in hot drinks - you have to shake it well beforehand and it sometimes seems slightly granular. But it tastes far superior to that horrible soya 'tang' so I don't care!
