Our poultry supplier works with 550 poultry farmers across Northern Ireland and England.
Chicken is one of the richest sources of protein and also many important vitamins and minerals. It is low in fat and low in cholesterol – specifically on skinless breast. In fact, chicken is lower in fat than most other meats and over half of the fat is unsaturated fat, the type that helps lower cholesterol.

Storage
Keep refrigerated below 4ºC. Once opened, consume within 1 day.
Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month. Defrost fully before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.
Prepare & Use
Cooking Instructions:
Remove all packaging. Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry.
Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods.
Oven:
Electric 200ºC.
Gas Mark 6.
Place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of a preheated oven for 25-30 mins.
Ensure the product is hot before serving and that the chicken is thoroughly cooked by inserting a skewer.
All chicken products should be cooked thoroughly until there is no pink meat and the juices run clear

Smelly Chicken
I bought this chicken once, a while ago. When I opened it, it smelt very bad so had to throw it away. I bought this product again recently and had the same issue again. Sadly I had bought two packs. I received a refund after speaking to customer services, but I won't buy this again.

Reliable quality
Am puzzled by reviewers complaints about odour - these chicken thighs have a definite poultry smell but it is no different to the smell you get from Butcher bought produce. Quality is consistently good - however I choose to cook them these thighs are tender and succulent.

so small!
These are so small and not really good value for money. Like other viewers in November 2012 there is a strange smell. Obviously the supplier has not sorted this issue raised?? Won't be buying these again. Back to Waitrose for me!

Taste good...
Chicken didn't smell at all. It was just very fatty-had to cut loads of fatty skin off. When cooked-made chicken noodle soup-was very tasty.
