Tasty and great texture

I tried this mince after becoming very disillusioned with the flavourless taste and rubbery texture of low-fat mince from other outlets and I'm really pleased with the results I'm getting. It has a finely ground texture and doesn't clump together in the cooking process. The first time we used it I was instantly reminded of the way mince used to taste when I was much younger A definite must-have on my shopping list now

too fatty

Surprisingly, whilst the meat tastes good, it is rather fatty, particularly compared to Tesco's extra lean steak mince. Will be buying it at Tesco's in the future.

Wrong Sell-By Date

I normally purchase this and don't have a problem, but the last batch I made a chilli with and it was terrible - whilst there was no really bad smell, the meat itself had a strange flavour so we had to throw it away. I think the sell-by date was wrong.

Nice, fresh lean mince.

This mince is very fresh and tastes great no matter how we end up using it. The lower fat content doesn't hurt either.
