Ocado Growing Coriander Pot
Product Description
Ocado Growing Coriander Pot.
Coriander is a rosette forming plant, so when you take the pot out of its sleeve it will naturally collapse. If you harvest just above the base new growth develops. Unlike other potted herbs Coriander should ideally be used once and then discarded, as success with growing on can be limited.
Potted herbs are grown as a ‘cut as you need’ fresher alternative to cut herbs; suited to growing in well lit, protected conditions on the windowsill or worktop. Potted herbs are mainly suited to the indoors, however, they can be planted outdoors, with varying success during spring and summer. Coriander it not recommend to try and plant outside.
As most herbs originate from hot countries they like to be kept on the dry side. The more light and heat they are exposed to, the more frequently they will need watering. During winter, you will probably find that potted herbs will not need to be watered very often.
This is an Ocado product. Like everything in our range, it's good quality, sensibly priced and, of course, responsibly sourced.

Care Instructions:
Watering the herbs from the bottom is the key to keeping them healthy and to prolonging their life. Your herbs have always been watered from below so by keeping to this regime you will extend the life of the plant.
Remove the herb pots from their sleeves and place the pots in the tray. By placing water at the bottom of the tray you can always see how much water your plants have taken up. Generally water little and often and never keep your plant in standing water

Extremely poor quality
This is the worst coriander I have ever purchased. It quickly droops and turns yellow despite watering it. I purchased two pots last week and had to throw both away after two days. The basil was absolutely fine though.

too little coriander
There is too little coriander, less than in a 25g pack so a bit pointless in my opinion.

lifeless coriander
Unfortunately the coriander collapsed and sagged (below the shelf) as soon as I unpacked it from it's packaging. I placed it into the water pot I bought with it, in hope of some life. The Basil next to it was fine but, I feel this plant was on its way out already. I won't be buying the Coriander again. I enjoy having fresh coriander at hand and can't help but be disappointed.
