Really nice Arabic style houmous
This is a more Arabic style houmous as opposed to the Turkish and Greek varieties which most supermarkets' houmous seem to be based upon, and personally I prefer the Arabic style. A couple of years ago Waitrose Essentials' version tasted very similar to this but they changed the recipe at some point and it is no longer as nice.

Much prefer this to the many variations now available - it's hummous as our Syrian neighbours used to make it - love it

Not too bad.
It's not as nice as the Waitrose houmous imho. Has a slightly funny texture, gritty, which makes it sound worse than it actually is. But, given all of that it's ok. Nicer than Asda houmous by a reasonable margin but not as good as tesco, sainsburys or waitrose.

Way too runny
Love Ocado but this houmous is really runny with no substance. It's bordering on being a liquid. I need to find something firmer.

Almost impenetrable
This came as a substitute for the Waitrose houmous I ordered. I'm sorry I accepted it. It says on the wrapper "Proactive about packaging - we remove it when we can." Would that I had been able to remove mine! It took me about two minutes to break the seal and get the lid off. My tea is brewing, my pitta is toasting, and I'm breaking thumbnails trying to get it open, and wondering if I should get a chainsaw out, or just give up and drop it in the bin. It tastes OK, perhaps a bit more lemon than I'd like, but it needs to be a lot more than OK to justify the fight to get to it.
