The wonderful flavour and aroma of coffee is affected by contact with the air. This pack is fitted with a special one way valve to allow the coffee to be packed directly after roasting to protect the coffee and maintain its freshness.
This is an Ocado product. Like everything in our range, it's good quality, sensibly priced and, of course, responsibly sourced.

Once opened, to prolong its freshness store in a cool place, refrigerator or deep freeze and use within two weeks.
Prepare & Use
Preparation Instructions:
Grind the coffee beans to suit the equipment being used. Medium ground - cafetiéres, percolators, conas and jugs. Fine ground - filter machine, filter cones. Very fine ground - espresso machine, stove top espresso pot. We recommend 1 rounded dessertspoonful of ground coffee per cup for normal strength coffee. This may be adjusted according to taste. To enjoy the coffee's full flavour do not stand, but serve soon after preparation

Horrid
Absolutely rubbish coffee beans and nothing like as good as the Waitrose ones. Ordered them by mistake thinking they were Waitrose, bitter and nasty.

Delicious roast with good crema
I've replaced Waitrose's Italian Blend with this as my staple coffee bean. Rich chocolatey roast with excellent crema and nearly impossible to make bad coffee from this -- no more bitter or sour coffee!.

A classy cocktail with a rich smooth flavour, frothy finish and coffee kick. An espresso is simply concentrated coffee. As it's often thicker than coffee it's the perfect consistency for cocktails like this one.

Wonderful - and superb value.
We use these in a bean-to-cup machine which needs a well-roasted and flavoursome coffee bean. These fit that bill really well - in fact, far better than we expected as one reviewer here has been quite negative. I can't understand why - this coffee is delighting everyone in the house and matched similar from Sainsbury's, M&S and Waitrose - but is better value. Well done Ocado!
