Mince like it used to be
No horrible brown grey centre when you break it up, no pints of gunk oozing out when you fry it, no clumping together in to chewy lumps in the pan. Don't be put off by the "high" fat content compared to other mince - this is good quality meat, it looks good, cooks well - doesn't give out much fat at all - and tastes good.

Freshest mince!
I've been buying this and the other 12% fat Ocado beef mince for a while now, and felt compelled to comment. How often have you opened a pack of mince, even when it looks fine on the outside, you start to break up the mince and there are discoloured patches - even on the day of purchase sometimes. Today I used my second pack of this from my last shop - today was its use by date....and still no discolouration. Three cheers for Ocado for supplying the freshest mince!

What about the date
Ordered 2 packs Wednesday delivery for Saturday chilli. States 3 days guaranteed avg. 5 . Had a use by date of 2 days, not even 3 let alone 5!! Bad practice and mis description under consumer legislation! Will not buy again AND its Ocado's own product.
