Instructions
1. Peel parsnips & remove outer skin. 2. Cut top and bottom off Parsnip and slice into preferred size. 3. Place in roasting tray and drizzle with oil. 4. Roast in pre heated fan assisted at 175ºC, Non fan assisted 200ºC & Gas mark 6 on middle shelf. 5. Turn Parsnips over after 15 minutes of cooking. Remove after approximately 30 minutes and serve. Check Food is piping hot.
I dont know if its the time of year or something else, but when I peeled these the inside was almost translucent - not at all like a parsnip should look. I threw away the worst ones and thought Id try to rescue the remainders by turning them into soup. Waste of time and other ingredients, as the result was inedible and had to be thrown away. I wont be buying parsnips again till colder weather arrives.
Really surprised with the size of these parsnips and the quality. They roasted beautifully and certainly value for money. Had them 4 days before I used them and they were still good 👍
These are the better parsnips of the choices, but whats with the 7.5% price rise in 1 week?
Isnt food inflation meant to be slowing down? It wasnt that long ago that they were 89p??!!
