How to Prepare an Avocado:
1. Cut all the way around the avocado stone.
2. Twist the 2 halves of the avocado apart.
3. Use a spoon to scoop out the stone.
4. Score along the skin and peel off in strips.

Inedible
When these arrived they were too hard to eat, so I left them on the counter for a few days. Next time I checked-within the week-they were completely mouldy and I had to sling them. Will be going back to trusty Waitrose ones.

consistently good
I have bought them over a period of time and haven't yet been deceived. They are not "ripe and ready" but not far off, normally I'll have them one or two days after I have bought them. They are good and creamy and perfect for salads and guacamole.

The best we've found.
These have rarely arrived with us 'ripe and ready to eat' - but that suits us. They are usually just about ok to eat, if a little under-ripe, on arrival, and ripen up nicely over the 4/5 days we take to eat them. The quality however is the best we have found in our avocado search - I'll happily compromise on ripeness rather than face a mushy, blackened, useless avocado. I'm not sure there is much Ocado can do about the ripeness situation without resulting in the same reviews as the other avocado offerings - ripe avocados simply do not travel well nor last well - so just keep them as they are please!

Needs some more repenting - but worth the wait
Not all were ripe when I got them but as I'm on my own that suited me just fine. Good taste!
