Ocado Scotch Bonnet Chillies 30g
Product information
Can be used for infusing oils or added to dishes to intensify the heat.
In general, scotch bonnet chillies have a rating of 100,000 to 350,000 on the Scoville Heat Scale for chilli peppers, to put this into context the hottest chilli is 15,000,000 and a Jalapeño is 2,500.
Scotch bonnet chillies must be handled carefully since they can irritate the skin. You must avoid contact with eyes and wash hands thoroughly after preparation. If eating, remove all seeds to help reduce the heat, these chillies can be very hot!

extremely hot
These are extremely hot
Nice and spicy
I buy a bag of these every week and they're always fine and hot. I'd buy something hotter if it was on offer but until then, these will have to do!
Lacking the heat
Ive been ordering these, thinking each time Ive had a bad batch as theyve just been lacking any heat. I think only once theyve been actual scotch bonnet pepper. For the convenience of purchasing in my big shop Ill try one more time
Fantastic
Big, full of flavour and a very good heat
happy ocado stocks scotch bonnet peppers now
Mixed reviews from others about the inconsistent quality but we buy this regularly and so far its always spicy and no issues with mould
inconsistent quality and not hot
These don't seem hot enough to actually be scotch bonnets. Also the quality varies - mostly OK but I've had one or two turn up mouldy, or bruised and squishy. As with so many fresh produce items I wish ocado did them better
