whole salmon

Came UNSCALED! If it is cleaned & gutted it SHOUL BE SCALED. Not as fresh as i expected after reading reviews I have bought from billingsgate market & it was no where near or half the quality of their salmon. I thought it was exactly the same as standard supermarket pre cut packs.

Brilliant

Cooked it en papilotte for a dinner party. Very tasty and had the wow factor. The only downside - had difficuly fitting it in the oven, but I'm pleased I did not have the head and tail removed.

Really fresh

I've purchased the salmon twice, whilst on offer. Both times I've found it fantastically fresh. I've managed to fillet both, freezing it ready prepared to throw into the oven.(put lemon, herbs,salt pepper and butter wrapped in foil) it was so awesome when cooked, that everyone thought it was freshly purchased! Lovely and fresh. Whilst preparing was tempted to try it raw as it looked so beautiful !

Absolutely gorgeous

Fresh whole salmon bright eyes and absolutely humongous in size. On offer when I bought it but would pay full price. A lovely whole fish that was very fresh

Cook's Note It’s vital that the fish is 100% fresh when you buy it – it should never smell “fishy”. Use wild salmon for a special treat. Variation Salmon is delicious with flavours such as horseradish or beetroot, as they cut wonderfully through the richness. Serve with a spoonful of each on the side, and a watercress salad.
