CHOOSE CORRECT SEASON
I found these to be at their best during late autumn to mid-February when sourced from South Africa, very nice no sharp ones. Im guessing their season ends in Feb because they are then sourced from Chilie and they do not taste as good, most of them are too sharp for me. Having said that it might be because its early season in Chilie so they might improve. Ive also only rtied these during autumn / winter, no idea what they are like during summer season

Tasteless !!!
Organic food is MEANT to taste better ... not in this case..... what are the organic food standards in Chile where these came from?? Blueberries are part of our regular order but we are getting fed up with bland, tasteless, soft fruits. These are coming off our shopping list. By comparison, the blueberries bought last week in & were great!

Couldn't consume
We have been regular buyers of these Organic blueberries but have always receieved them with bated breath. This week's order was the worst though - I didn't have to just pick out the 10% that were squashed or mouldy - I had to disgard half of them! Unfortunately the ones that remained which we took a risk on were foul tasting. This is a real shame as we love organic blueberries - just not sure we want to continue taking this risk.

Inedible
These arrived two days within date-stamp, and I opened them immediately. I discarded the ten percent that were squishy, and began to eat some of the rest. Every third of fourth had a foul taste, as if it was already rotten inside. Of course I gave up and threw them away. I've had these in the past - perhaps summer or early autumn - and although one or two were squishy, the rest were fine. Perhaps, being organic, they just can't be preserved sufficiently well to eat at this time of year.

gritty & unpleasant tasting blueberries
These organic blueberries from Chile at this time of year are simply awful, small & unpleasant tasting fruit. Can Waitrose not get the South African ones at this time of year??
