Not sticky!
I love these prunes! I bought some similar, organic ones, from Tesco and they were so sticky they made your fingers messy and stuck together. These are dry to the touch but soft and delicious to eat. I used to eat the medjool dates but they are very very sweet. These are a perfect snack - and very good for you! And contrary to other reviews, I haven't found any bits of stone.

Beautiful
These prunes are beautiful but do contain bits of stone so aren't suitable for children unless they've been checked first.

Mediocre
Bought these to make devils on horseback. They weren't nearly sweet enough for my tastes and one still had a stone, which I didn't appreciate.

Variation Use the dried fruit of your choice, such as golden raisins, cranberries, or delicious sweet cherries. Cook's Notes Don't use dried fruit that's past its best, as it won't soak up the alcohol.

delicious
I find these absolutely delicious and so soft. They taste great eaten alone and I find them great for cooking. I chop them before giving them to my baby as I have found stones in them although very rarely. It's probably advisable to be cautious of stones with all brands of dried stoned fruit though. It's easy to check for stones as the fruit itself is so soft.
