Mealworms are the favourite food of many garden bird species. They are very versatile and can be used for feeding birds from tables, ground feeding trays and also in seed feeders on their own or added to a seed mix. Use these mealworms to treat the birds in your garden. With food resources scarcer now, it is essential to feed garden birds all year round. Once you have started to feed the birds it is important to continue this and develop a routine, as the birds will become reliant upon your help. Put out feed at the beginning of the day to ensure that the birds can replace the energy that they have lost over night. It is best to have multiple feeding sites within the garden to prevent overcrowding. Moving them around regularly will prevent a build-up of droppings, which can spread disease and bacteria.

Bird\x27s favourite brand
These mealworms seem to be bigger than those found in other brands. They attract some of the larger birds such as jays as well as all the garden favourites especially robins and sparrows
How to review mealworms?
These are extremely popular with my fluffy friends. They pretty much demolish the feeder full in a day. However Im guessing ultimately all mealworms are the same with different packaging and different prices. On that note, the price of this bag has increased by £2.50 since my last shop!
Please do NOT feed to Hedgehogs!
The wild birds demolish these mealworms within minutes of me putting them out in the feeders. Although please do NOT feed mealworms to Hedgehogs. They can cause a painful metabolic bone disease as they reduce calcium and bone density due to the high phosphate content.
Product fine, packaging not as stated
These bags used to be resealable. Who wants hundreds of meal worms spilt at their feet? Although there is still a strip at the top of the bag, it does not work. I think I will contact supplier. Contents are fine.
How to entice a hedgehog to your garden!
I have used this products for the Robins an other birds for a long time but have two nightly visitors that come to my living room window and have a nightly feast of both these mealworms and a biscuit product called The Right Food for Hedgehogs. Whilst the mealworms are their favourite it gets a bit expensive so have put in a request for the aforementioned biscuits!

I put a small amount of these out every evening on a plate for the hedgehogs in the garden. They eat every scrap & much prefer them to other hedgehog foods I've tried
