very tasty
Lovely pie. Crisp pastry - although a bit tough, full pie, nice filling. Just needs a bit more salt for my taste. Good value.

Pie contents still not good enough.
Beautiful looking pies, the tops scattered with poppy seed, and the crunchy pastry was very good, but they simply have NOT got the filling right!. There was lots of flavourful mushroom and a fair few over-large, regular cubes of chicken breast, which was dryish and not tasty. The whole pie was very dry overall, with no sauce. I do wish this firm would concentrate on PIE CONTENTS! They should also go in for simple, stylish packaging with ingredients and heating instructions prominent. Instead they cover their packs with self promotional statements about how many prizes they have won, silly competitions, jokes, quotes from celebs, Facebook links and other drivel. Concentrate on the essentials, and let pie quality speak for itself!

The perfect pie
I am a huge fan of Pieminister. I just cannot fault their pies. Perfect every time - even if they have been defrosted after freezing, they still cook to perfection and taste delicious. No other pie on the market comes close. I was horrified when my local "Every Little Helps" mega supermarket stopped stocking them in favour of their own range of pies, which are disgusting, so now I buy all my Pieminister pies on Ocado. Well done for stocking a decent range of the flavours, too!
