Product Description

Nothing but a pile of pepperoni for those who like their flavours strong and simple.
At Pizza Express, we've always been inspired by art from individual menu designs that change with the seasons to our Chiswick restaurant where you'll see 26 original works by Peter Blake - pop artist and Pizza Express fan.
We've been perfecting the art of pizza ever since our founder, Peter Boizot, brought the great taste of Italian pizza to the UK.

50 years on, you can enjoy our best ever Classic pizzas at home, with simple, fresh ingredients on our signature base. The Classic has all the qualities of our original restaurant pizza, which hasn't changed since 1965.
All it needs now is to be cooked to perfection.
Enjoy.

Preparation and Usage

Cook it our way
1. Prepare your pizza. Remove all packaging including base disc.
Even out the toppings.
2. Hot and fast. Put your pizza on the top shelf of the oven, once the oven has reached 200°C. Ideally use a preheated pizza stone or a pizza pan with holes in the base. It is fine to put it directly on the oven rack, but never on a solid baking tray.
3. Is it ready? Cook for 8-10 minutes. The cheese will have gone golden brown and the base nice and crispy all the way to the centre.

Eat it your way
In our restaurants you can have pizzas exactly how you want them.
Many people like to add freshly ground black pepper, but here are some other ideas.
Feel like some salad?
Scatter over some fresh rocket after cooking.
Love Parmesan?
Grate or shave over some fresh Parmesan after cooking.
A little hotter?
After cooking crumble over some dried pepperoncini chilli flakes or finely sliced fresh chilli.

Awful!

These pizzas have seriously gone down hill! They are million miles away from the restaurant and take out pizzas. We used to love these pizzas and the manufacturers have now removed half the toppings and replaced with an excessive sprinkling of herbs to compensate. I definitely won't be buying again.

Don't bother with this

The manufacturers obviously don't care about quality so don't waste your time buying it. Used to be a good stand-by staple but quality has plunged to worse than take away quality.

great freezer standby

Best of bunch in terms of calories and taste - my family enjoys these

Poorest excuse for a pizza

Pizzas should have toppings. This is a spartan, sorry excuse for a pizza. Its all very well being cheap, but this is basically frozen bread with a bit of tomato sauce on it. Awful.

nothing special

not worth the price - nothing special at all
