A single meat source, complete food to help control your dog's weight with: 45% chicken; a low-fat protein source that is naturally rich in L-Carnitine, Sweet Potato; which is low GI, high in fibre and a source of B-vitamins, Pea Protein; Which is low GI, high in BCAAs and shown to help control production of Ghrelin- the hunger stimulating hormone, CLA; shown to support fat metabolism and aid weight management, Psyllium; A dietary fibre that promotes satiety (the feeling of fullness), L-Carnitine; A popular fat burning supplement, Probiotics and Prebiotics; to aid digestion and Glucosamine and Chondroitin; to protect joints that may be carrying extra weight.
This food is formulated with no added artificial flavours, colours or preservatives with no grain, cereal or gluten and with non-GM produce. It is produced in an establishment where grains etc maybe present, so there is a tiny chance that a tiny amount may have some shuck in, but we do everything in our power to try and ensure that this does not happen.

Condition Appropriate Nutrient Feeding:
A dog's nutritional requirements are based more on their condition than on their size, breed or evolutionary history. For example a dog needing mobility support may benefit more from a protein source rich in omega 3, whereas an overweight dog may benefit more from a protein source rich in L-carnitine. Pooch & Mutt aims to provide the best condition-appropriate foods made to the highest standards with the highest quality, natural ingredients.
Why Feed Grain Free:
Many dogs struggle to digest foods that are high in grains (including corn and wheat). Intolerance to grain can manifest in many ways, such as digestive discomfort, itchy skin and sub-optimal health.
Preparation and Usage
The quantities below are meant as a rough guide. The correct amount of food will depend on your dog's level of activity, breed, age and if they are overweight or underweight.
Small Dogs: (1-10kg), 20-120 g/day, 200-33 meals/bag
Medium Dogs: (11-25kg), 120-240 g/day, 33-17 meals/bag
Large Dogs: (26-45kg), 240-375 g/day, 17-11 meals/bag
Giant Dogs: (45kg+), 375 g/day, 11 meals/bag
Number of meals based on 2 meals per day. When switching dog foods it is recommended that you introduce new food gradually replacing 25% of their existing food for the first 2-3 days, then 50% for a further 2-3 days, then 75% for a final 2-3 days.

Definitely works
My dog is incredibly greedy and will eat anything and begged constantly. Consequently she got quite tubby. Didnt help that my husband always treats her and gives her left overs etc. Anyway, I had to get her eating more healthily so bought slim and slender quite a few months ago. She looks fantastic now. Lost all her extra weight. Coat looks shiny and she generally looks fit and well. I think the slim and slender keeps her full for longer. She never hangs around looking for more food. Shes definitely satisfied after meal. Ocado please keep stocking Pooch and Mutt.
No complaints from my pooch!
Ocado sent me this product to review but dog food is always very hard to gauge. My dog will eat anything put in front of him and rarely complains! He certainly had no problems wolfing this down and didn't have any upset stomachs. It would need to be trialled over a longer period to see if the Slender aspect is valid. He certainly didn't gain or lose any weight on this.
An empty bowl every time!
What we feed our dog is very important to us and so we choose her food very carefully. We tried the Pooch & Mutts range for the first time and our dog loved it. She cleans her bowl every tiime and seems to enjoy it immensely. She's healthy and happy and we'll definitely buy again.
Went Down Well!
This was a bit of a gamble but my dog thoroughly enjoyed it. He had it mixed with wet food and on its own and enjoyed it both ways. It's a little pricey but worth it.
Dog loves this!
My dog is usually not fussed about dry food/kibbles but he loved this & gobbled it up. Great as he's a few lb overweight too! He's so keen I could probably use the kibbles as treats/rewards too. Really impressed & will try other flavours in time.
