Very good artichokes.
These tasted neither too salty nor too smokey to me. My pretty critical husband prefers them too. People's tastes differ. My only criticism is that they acquire mould in the fridge before they are finished if you are not careful. I put a freezer bag round them to prevent this.

Sooo salty!
These are ridiculously salty to the point of being inedible! Also weirdly garlicky, so the taste of the artichoke is completely overwhelmed...come on Waitrose, you can do better than this!

Tough and salty
The outer layer of each artichoke heart is dried out, tough and inedible from the chargrilling, so it has to be removed. Personally I found it slightly oversalted, but the rest of the seasoning was nice. No complaints about price, as there are a good number of hearts, and I can understand how difficult they are to prepare.

Beware the salt
Fine product, ruined by over-salting. Anyone on a salt-restricted diet should approach with caution. I'd be happy to buy this in an unsalted version then add salt to taste.

WISH I DIDN'T LOVE THEM!
Wish I found them too salty etc like so many fellow reviewers. THEN I would stop ordering them and they would not keep disappearing in the time it takes me to unpack my Ocado delivery. Think of all the money I would save if I gave up my addiction... Damn my tastebuds!!
