Makes great cakes
I only use this for baking prefering a soft spreadable butter for ordinary use. It makes lovely cakes and pastry. Can't fault the taste and it keeps really well, even when left at room temperature ready for use in cakes.

Please buy British
Don't understand why people buy Dutch or New Zealand butter when British butter is so delicious AND usually cheaper! Rachel's Dairy is consistently good, as is Yeo Valley. Please be a mindful consumer and buy British!

Fab in baking!
I've always used ordinary salted butter in baking, as most recipes add salt. Then learnt that there are different amounts of salt depending on the make of butter. Have switched to this unsalted version and am now in control of eactly how much salt is, or isn't in the end product. Definately noticed the difference in taste and quality. Will continue to buy.

Best baking butter!
I agree with another reviewer that this butter is fantastic for baking. I am a frequent baker and always have great success with this butter. Sometimes it gets left out over night and always tastes perfect the next day. I don't tend to use it for spreading - only because I use something that is a little softer and more spreadable. But I think the taste is excellent and so would recommend it for any 'buttery' use in the kitchen.
