Not the 'average price'

I've ordered this several times, and it is NEVER £1.62 as the average price suggests. In fact the last two times I've ordered two fillets and upon delivery found they cost 6 pounds total, and one was massive while the other was small. Makes for a strange dinner for two. Overall the meat is great and I'd give it five stars if Ocado would just be a bit more accurate with the sizing or more honest with the price info. I order it because it looks inexpensive, and then shell out six pounds. It's not ideal. But at least it's good quality.

A great meal

I've had a couple of fillets every week for a couple of months and just love this fish. It's tender, tasty, healthy and really good quality. Sometimes there are bones, but not many, especially in the smaller fillets. I don't find them to be a problem at all compared to other fish

Tasty, healthy, cheap

These little fillets are full of taste and high in Omega-3. Yes they have tiny bones, but If you can spend two minutes pin-boning use some tweezers BEFORE cooking even the most bone phobic diner like me! will be happy. If you don't know how to pin-bone, check out youtube. Once you get a rythm for it, its really easy and the simple technique opens up a whole new world of 'bony' fish that you may never have considered before...!

Second Chance!

Was nearly put off by the reviews, glad I wasn't, only a few bones and very tasty. Am about to buy again, hope I'm not caught out by the bones this time!

While we have taken care in preparing this summary and, to the best of our knowledge, believe it is accurate you should note that the summary product information (in particular the "Other Information" section) may change between the time you place your order on the website and the time your order is delivered (in this regard we rely on our suppliers to tell us of any changes in a timely manner so we can update our website). For example, as all meat and fish products are naturally farmed, there may be occasions when due to weather conditions we may need to source from alternative approved sources (and hence the product origin may change). Therefore, if you do require the most up-to-date product information following delivery of your order, please ensure you check the website for details.
If the summary product information contains a link to another party's website for further information on the product, please note that Ocado has no control over and no liability for the contents of that website.
You also need to be aware that for those service counter goods where we offer additional preparation services (ie removal of the head and tail of a fish or for a rack of lamb to be cut into cutlets), the price will be calculated based on the weight of the whole fish before the head and tail have been removed and the lamb rack before it has been cut into cutlets, should you request this service. The receipt and product label you receive will also show the actual weight of the whole fish and/or lamb rack (before the head and tail of the fish has been removed and the lamb rack has been cut into cutlets).
