Better than breadcrumbs
Whenever a recipe calls for breadcrumbs, Matzo meal is a lot easier to use than regular breadcrumbs unless the purpose is to create a very course coating. This is especially true if the breadcrumbs are used as a filler in things like meatballs, as it dissolves much faster than regular breadcrumbs.
