awful
It is my first time to order this product so perhaps this does not always taste as bad. The venison has a terrible powdery taste. I only purchased it because I tried the Rannoch Smoked Chicken which I thought was okay and I was curious to try the other Rannoch products. But unlike the smoked chicken which has nothing artificial in it, the venison has the preservative Sodium Nitrite. And it doesn't taste like smoked venison at all!
