Not as good as the original recipe
Although this is the best veggie mince I have yet tried, it is not as good as the original recipe. Pieces are too large and chewy.

Not very nice
This really isn't very nice. The mince pieces are too big and are too chewy. The Quorn mince is much better.

ruined product
The original Realeat vegemince was lovely but they have now changed the recipe and it is now hard and rubbery, i had to cook it for a long time to make it even remotely edible. Please can we have the old recipe back.

One mealtime, one meal
As a mixed vegetarian and meat eating family I often have to cook two meals to satisfy the whole family. Not with Realeat mince though, our chillii made with this is a favourite with everyone. Very good value for money too! When did Linda McCartney appear on this product though? Perhaps this product will get the higher profile it deserves with the new label?

Not as good now the recipe has changed.
This USED TO BE really very nice, great taste and easy to cook with. I agree with the other reviews that it's gone downhill a lot since they changed the recipe. It now has a strange taste that needs a lot of flavour to cover it, the texture is rubbery and it absorbs a great deal of water when cooking. Shame, this was a favourite for years and now I don't buy it at all. Please bring back the old recipe!
