Genuine Cured Ham from Savoie, Cured for 9 Months
The Savoie region is renowned for its rich tradition in cooked meats. The farmer would kill the pigs at the start of Autumn. The thighs would be lightly salted before drying them at room temperature over a period of several months, benefitting from the dry climate of the Savoie region. The ham would be brought out and eaten at special occasions such as Easter and harvests.

Taste ok but not packaging
Very, very annoying that they have changed the plastic sheets inside for smaller ones that now make it IMPOSSIBLE to take out as one complete slice!

Nice, but not at this price
I'm a big fan of this type of ham and although it is a decent example of the breed I think that it is expensive when compared with similar Spanish and Italian hams of similar quality.

I bought this product once and had to throw it away as it was mouldy. Will not be ordering it again.
