Paté Basque with Espelette Pepper.
Local pork delicacies are part of the culinary traditions of rural France. The Basque country is lucky to be home to the small Espelette pepper which received AOC status and has a very pleasant and mild flavour. Based on an artisan recipe, it goes well with pork meat (Bayonne Ham IGP) which enhances its particular flavour.

Grim
I like coarse meat products and I'm quite keen on Reflets de France's rustic-artisan angle, but I found this stuff repellent. It looked and smelled like cat food. Did it taste like cat food? I don't know, I've never eaten cat food, but this had a sort of silty texture and frankly worrying flavour. Verdict - No.

First class!
This is a tasty French pate - and is a great addition to the Ocado range of products. Ideal to have one in store for a quick lunch or starter.

I've never tasted such a horrid Pate!
Absolutely disgusting, tasted like fatty corned beef. Please Ocado, can we not have some decent French brand instead of this rubbish?? The only thing worth keeping was the sweet jar it came in!

Too much like cat food.
This is a little too coarse for me and the whole family thought it smelt and like cat food and once you have that idea in your head ..... well, it puts you off.
