Product Description
Natural Black Olives from Provence, Cote d’Azur
The olive is a symbolic fruit in Provence and in the Languedoc Roussillon. It cannot be eaten straight from the tree as it is too bitter and must be left to ripen after harvest. This technique which depends on the variety of olive and their age (green turning black) is called debittering.
