Storage
Keep refrigerated below 5ºC.
Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on day of purchase but not later than 2 days before use by date and within 1 month . Defrost thoroughly before use.
Prepare & Use
Please ensure that these sausages are cooked thoroughly before eating.
For best cooking results: grill or fry Richmond sausages. Do not prick Richmond sausages.
Grill
Set tray on middle shelf. Grill for 15-20 minutes on a medium heat turning occasionally.
Fry
Add a little oil to the pan and fry on a medium heat for approximately 10-15 minutes turning occasionally.
Oven bake
Place sausages on a baking tray in a pre-heated oven at 190ºC, 375ºF, Gas mark 5 for 20-25 minutes turning occasionally.
For fan assisted ovens adjust cooking times according to manufacturer's handbook

My Favorite Sausage
I don't understand the bad reviews on these sausages, I have had Richmond a lot of my life and find them a tasy and consistant sausage, never had a bad one, A little squashed maybe. I'm tempted to cook some right now. Give them a go. Yum Yum.

Anaemic-looking grease tubes. Get the Waitrose Essentials ones instead Even on 1/2 price offer I won't be buying these again...

Revolting
This is the kind of thing they served in greasy spoons in the 70s. Less than half meat, and packed out with rusk to stop the fat running out. Too salty to eat fried, and horrendously soggy in a casserole. I wouldn't feed these to a dog. You can get so much better for just a little bit more money.

revolting
I was worried when I saw the sausages - so pale and limp. They were full of fat - I browned them in a pan with no oil before adding to a casserole, and it was swimming by the end - and they still weren't properly brown. Wouldn't care to know what parts of the animal were used but I can tell it was nothing I'd recognise.
