Along with his brother, Joseph, and French confectioner August Claude Gaget, they developed the delicious taste of Rowntree's® in 1881. For more than 130 years these delicious chewy sweets have been making days more colourful with their irresistibly fruity taste and mouth-watering texture.

Seriously disgusting now
Stop messing with the recipies. By all means make vegan ones but give me back the ones I loved. These are now disgusting. Would give -1 stars if I could
they're good
I'm vegan, they're good, suck on it carnivores
Love these
Always buy and keep for when in the car, much healthier ingredients now aswell.
the new recipe is horrid
they now taste cheap and nasty with a weird texture an after taste. Another childhood favourite gone for good i fear
Ruined to make them vegan
These things are absolutely revolting now. Awful, sticky and annoying. Schwab shame they've ruined this all time classic.
Very nice but could be firmer
Yes the recipe has changed, which I am glad about not wanting to eat meat and putting ground up cows bones in sweets is weird. But many people are right about them being different. For me the flavour is just how I remember, but they are a bit too soft. I remember them being a lot firmer on that first bite which I really liked so being softer is the reason I'm knocking a star off. I did order the red and purple packet too and in that the purple ones were much harder so maybe the ratio of the gelatine replacement needs tweaking. If this change does annoy you, fair enough about them being softer, but it's not vegans fault I'm sure most of the people at rountrees aren't vegan. And I think a vegan version that doesn't taste any different is totally possible it's just chemistry
