Product Description

Once a perfect porridge met a blend of barley, rye and quinoa. We're especially chuffed with our linseeds. They have a gently nutty, earthy flavour and are the richest plant source of omega 3 fats, which can boost your brain, heart, joints and immune system. And those two kinds of linseed are teamed up with eight other, similarly nutritious - and flavour- packed ingredients. Look out world, here you come.

Store in a cool, dry place.


Cooking Instructions:
Mix 1 measure (about half a cup per person) of porridge with 2½ measures of milk or water (or a mixture of half milk and half water), and a pinch of salt, if you like.
In a pan: Bring to the boil slowly and simmer gently for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Microwave (850 Watt): Use a suitable bowl and do not cover. Cook at full power for 2 minutes and stir, then full power for 1 minute and stir, then medium power for 30 seconds.

(Serves 1)
1 cup porridge (50g)
2 1/2 cups milk or half milk and half water (250ml)
Pinch of sea salt if you like
In a Pan: Bring to a boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Microwave: Pour ingredients into a bowl and cook on full power for 2 minutes then stir.
Cook for a further minute, then stir. Leave to cool and thicken for 2 minutes.

tasty and filling

Having tried the Fruity Date porridge by Rude Health, I thought I would give this a go and I have to say this is another winner! I thought due to the lack of fruit, this porridge might need a sweetener like agave or honey but I thought it was tasty enough without so I didn't bother. The flavour the seeds add is just right. I love how the seeds add the flavour, fill you up and add essential nutrients. I had 50g worth with 250ml of almond milk, it may seem runny at first when you remove it from the microwave, but leave it for 3-4mins and it will thicken up.
