Plain but ok

These are ok, nothing special but they taste fine. A bit watery sometimes.

So fresh, tasted great

We ordered these for the first time this week and were very impressed. We all agreed they tasted superbly fresh. We had no problems with scales/bones

Beware bones and scales

Have tried Ocado's skinless and boneless which although delicious were very small, so I thought I would try these. Although they smelt very fresh on delivery they were full of bones and scales which was disappointing.

4 Salmon fillets - makes great crispy skin

We buy these every week and choose to pan fry starting by oiling them slightly with our fingers and seasoning. Most often we marinade in ginger, soy, sesame oil, lime and coriander and present on top of stir fry veg. Best cooked in a medium hot skillet pan, skin side down until pink halfway up, then turn over - gives a lovely crispy edible skin which is so very good for you!

Scales

Have bought these on a number of occasions, and whilst the fish is always tasty they have never been descaled so the skin is inedible, which is a shame.

Salmon and Monkfish Brochettes with a Caper Dip

You can use any firm-textured fish for this recipe, but salmon and monkfish create a delicious contrast in colour and flavour. The dip then lends a fresh piquancy, complementing the smoky flavours from grilling. Serve with green salad and new potatoes.
