A bad batch?
Just tried these olives for the first time. They tasted off, had to throw away the whole can. Date said best before 2014 and didn't seem to have been tampered with so assume that is what the olives taste like? or a dodgy batch. Musty/sour hard to describe. Had the jar ones which are great so will stick to them in future.

Going on my 'always have a tin of' list!
I admit that I am a recent convert to olives, and found that these have a very nice round flavour, without being overly strong, and are perfect with salads, pasta, pizza etc. They are in brine, but not at all too salty, and perfect if you prefer olives without the oil you get with most fresh/deli-counter choices. For the price, they are unbeatable. You get a lot of olives in that tin, and I think these will find a home amongst the things I make sure I always have in my cupboard.

Best olives yet
Tried other types and these really do have the best flavour. Great with a gin and tonic, or to use in recipes.

I've never been a fan of canned or packet olives, but these were superb, I could have sat and ate the whole tin in one go, but thought that might have been a bit greedy! I agree with one of the other reviews and will also have a can or two in the cupboard
