Keep frozen. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours.
Prepare & Use
Cooking Instructions:
Grill:
Preheat grill. Remove all packaging. Place mackerel on a lightly greased foil before placing under a medium grill for 4-6 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking. Heat until thoroughly cooked.
Pan Fry:
Remove all packaging. Heat 1tsp oil in a frying pan, cook mackerel over a medium heat for 4-6 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking. Heat until thoroughly cooked.
Grill from Frozen:
Preheat grill. Remove all packaging. Place mackerel on a lightly gresed foil before placing under a medium grill for 15-16 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking. Heat until thoroughly cooked

I ordered these a few weeks ago and have reordered every week since. Beautiful! No bones, cook perfectly in foil straight from the freezer, taste amazing. Love, love. love. Would love to see frozen Alaskan salmon please, not the flabby farmed stuff.

fresh from the sea
like all oily fish, mackeral doesn't taste fresh for long. bought these fillets when they were on special offer not really expecting much. they are absolutely fantastic, fresh and clean and very easy to cook. highly recommended.

the best 'fresh' mackerel away from the seaside
Living in land-locked Oxford, I find it difficult to get really fresh mackerel, which needs to be eaten as soon after landing as possible. This product is a great alternative, and a frozen fillet emerges crisp and succulent from under the grill in 10 minutes. Perfect!

barbecue
this product makes the best barbecue food, even for the most committed meat eater. No need to prepare, straight out of the box onto the barbecue and a few minutes later, delicious.

These are fantastic. Grilled from frozen, squeeze of lemon and four happy children asking when we can have them again. This frozen fish range is fantastic but please source decent salmon too!
