The Natural Bagel Co. Classic Bagel 5 per pack
Product Description
5 Classic Bagels
Classic, traditional recipe
100% natural ingredients
No added fats
Less calories than 2 slices of bread
Satisfying but not high in calories
More satisfying doesn't mean more calories! One of the characteristics of bagels, which are traditionally steamed or boiled before baking, is a slightly chewier texture than bread. It's the texture that makes bagels feel so satisfying. But with less than 230 calories per bagel they contain fewer calories than 2 thick slices (60 g each) of white bread.
No compromise on health or taste
Our aim is to create the healthiest, tastiest range of bagels, so you can enjoy them as much as your body will. Like the original bagel bakers of the 17th century, we only use natural ingredients. And most of our products contain no added fat. They're qualities our customers tell us they want. And we think the bagels taste better for it - but you be the judge!
Bagel history
Bagels are thought to have originated in Central Europe, either in Poland or in Austria, in the 17th century. The name bagel may have come from the word "beugal" (stirrup) due to the fact that traditional handmade bagels are not perfectly round, but slightly stirrup shaped. Their popularity is now linked to the qualities of traditional Jewish foods, and the variety, versatility and convenience they offer today.

Very Nice and Nothing Artificial
I've only had them toasted but I really like these. They only contain natural ingredients and my 4 year old really likes them too.

Lovely
Much prefer these to the ny brand and nothing in them you wouldn't find in your cupboard. The only improvement would be organic flour. Taste good toasted and cold.

So pleased with this Substitute
Taste like the bagels from the Bagel shop on Brick lane. We wont be buying any other brand.

Awful!
Temped by a special deal, I ignored the poor reviews and bought it anyway, thinking "it can't be as bad as they say", I was wrong! It really is! It's terribly dry and doesn't taste as bagels at all. I actually threw half of it away, something the cheapskate in my normally wouldn't dream of doing.

Saddest Bagels EVER
These have got to be the saddest bagels I have ever had, they are essentially stale bread, they're tough and dry and nothing bagels should be, I'm so disappointed!
