The only way to get the week's news in just 1 hour
FEW OF US HAVE THE TIME to read one newspaper from cover to cover, let alone the hundreds of newspapers and magazines published in the UK and overseas every week. Britain's daily and Sunday newspapers contain a staggering 5,800 pages. Almost ten million words. Each week.
So, keeping up to date with what's happening - and understanding all the issues behind the headlines - is difficult, if not impossible.
Fortunately, the answer is now at hand...
The Week is a unique digest which distils the best of the British and foreign press into just 35 succinct pages - ideal for today's busy lifestyle. What's more, The Week is a joy to read, keeping you entertained as well as informed.

Brilliant

An example of the finest journalistic idea in history. A brilliant weekly overview of The WEEK, in an exceptionally easy to read, digestible format. It's basically everything you need to know from the main news stories and how they were covered, in both the UK and across the globe to news on sports, people, science & health as well as arts, theatre, film and music reviews. Also includes property, finance, letters, food and City news....in fact there's so much content that every time I pick up my copy - when I can prise it from my husband! - I find myself reading something new that I missed first time round! Our favourite saying at home is now, "I read it in THE WEEK...'

the week

I picked up a discarded copy of this on a tube train. It is an excellent digest of current news, with an overview that is usually missing. Too much so called news coverage is simply reporting of events, not explaining what they mean, or are likely to lead to.
