Prepare & Use
Microwave b/650W 6 mins, D/750W 5 mins, E/850W, 4 1/2 mins
Microwave from frozen. B/650W 11 mins, D/750W 10 mins, E/850W 8 1/2 mins
Microwave ovens vary: refer to handbook. Remove lid and stir sauce, if from chilled. Lay the lid back on to the pot and place pot on a microwaveable plate. Stir halfway through heating. Stir before standing. Stand for 2 minutes after heating. Check food is piping hot. If not, heat for a further brief period.
Hob 5-6 mins. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot
Do not reheat once cooled. Stir before serving

Simple and fresh
Good, plain, fresh marinara sauce. Nice on its own but not overseasoned so it also makes a good base for your own seasoning or other ingredients if you prefer. Freezes well too.

Ideal for quick pasta and meatballs
We use this sauce with Waitrose meatballs for a fast meal after school/work. They go really well together and the sauce is very fresh-tasting compared to some other ready-made sauces.

Bellissima
Really fresh tasting with just the right amount of Basil. I find all the long-life jars of pasta sause far to strong with an un-natural taste. This tastes like fresh tomatos and makes a great quick meal with Waitrose meatballs, pasta and parmesan. Long sell by date too.

Best tomato pasta sauce
I used to buy Bertolli tomato and basil sauce, until I tried this. Now I only buy this one. Really tasty!!
