Goat's Milk Gouda
Intense combination of vanilla toffee and fruity character.
Made from pasteurised goat's milk.
Strength: 6 (Extra Mature)

The Klaver brothers rear all their own goats, giving them full control of the milk production, which is how they produce best quality goats cheese. Unlike many goats' cheeses this Gouda is smooth, sweet and smells of caramel. It is matured for a minimum of 10 months.

Absolutely delicious cheese

I tend to buy goat and sheep cheeses as I am lactose intolerant, but this cheese is possibly the nicest cheese of any kind I have ever eaten, and my dairy-loving husband agrees. It's strong, but not overpowering and really creamy in texture. A regular on my shopping list now.

really tasty

This cheese is a revelation and nothing like the usual 'plastic' gouda found in most supermarkets. It has a very strong flavour which might not appeal to everyone but I love it and so does my family. I would not have known it was made from goat's milk though as this flavour is not evident at all.

Was on offer so gave it a go.... Fantastic!

We like goats cheese, and like gouda, so when it was on offer I thought we would try it. Fantastic cheese...would buy again at full price, as it could be one of my top 3 favourite cheeses. My two boys are not overly keen on normal goats cheese, but they loved it....

The best goats cheese ever!

This is utterly divine and a life saver for someone who likes a complex and flavoursome mature cheese but cannot have cow's milk. Waitrose also sell a mature goat gouda on the cheese counter, from the round. I buy it when this is - frequently - out of stock but it's not a patch on this.

Gorgeous cheese

I love goats cheese and this is soo moreish, lovely strong flavour that doesn't burn the roof of your mouth like some cheeses. Would probably be a good one to cook with but it never gets that far!
