Great for bread recipies
I use around 25g of Trex to 500g bread flour and get great results. Use as a subsitute for butter in all types of baking.

easy to use and good for all round baking makes great pastry

Easy and quick to make with children helping or even making the oatcakes themselves. Supervise children when melting the lard and putting the baking tray in and out of the oven. Much tastier than bought oatcakes and they go wonderfully with Mackerel Pate.

superb
great for all types of baking, especially good for continental pastries and sweet breads, also foolproof for shortcrust pastry with very little effort. Would prefer if it came in a tub though, the laminated cardboard box it comes in rarely stays shut properly and the trex can dry out a bit
