superb

great for all types of baking, especially good for continental pastries and sweet breads, also foolproof for shortcrust pastry with very little effort. Would prefer if it came in a tub though, the laminated cardboard box it comes in rarely stays shut properly and the trex can dry out a bit

Lacks product info from manufacturer

This is a lot cheaper than the American product 'Crisco', but only lists its ingredients as 'vegetable oils' which is no good to allergy sufferers, nor people who really want to know what they are eating.

Great for bread recipies

I use around 25g of Trex to 500g bread flour and get great results. Use as a subsitute for butter in all types of baking.
