Not nice....

I lived off jerky in the US for a while, and can honestly say that this stuff is nasty. Chewy, off-colour scraps of sub-standard meat. I suspect that the packet I just had was off, as the product looked grey, smelled pretty bad, and was just plain nasty. Won't be buying again. Disgusting.

very small

I bout this for my husband as we are South African and he loves his biltong. He said it was very nice but gone in seconds. I was quite disappointed with how big it was so probably won't bother again :(

Oh dear

We've tried this before and it was always quite good, but the last packet we bought smelled like sewerage when we opened it. I will NOT be ordering it again.

Not very nice

I've tried and liked jerky of various different types before, but when I searched for jerky I got two results, both biltong, so I thought I'd give them a try. I can't say I liked either of them. They were similar, so I suppose I just don't like biltong. The texture and dryness were not appealing, the meat wasn't very nice, and chewing didn't really help much. So I'll stick to jerky in future - pity Ocado don't stock any!

This is not Biltong!

Ok I guess it is Biltong in the fact it's some kind of dried beef... But don't let that fool you. I love Biltong - I would normally be happy to live off the stuff - but not from this packet.... This "Biltong" is so dry it's unpleasant to eat. I'm going to try the other make this order - I hope its better :o)
