Product Description
This lot we have selected is an “especial” preparation that represents about 10% of the summit of the crop. It is harvested from the highest elevations of Balcones, La Lima and Cordillera that produce the most exquisite quality. Because of the high elevation, this coffee ripens late in the season and is one of the last to be harvested. The complex citrus and red apple tartness is layered with delicate floral and plum flavour attributes; the cup has natural sugar cane sweetness and shows balance and structure.

Storage
Packed immediately after roasting. Once opened, roll the top of this pack down tightly and secure with a rubber band. Store in the freezer and use within two weeks.
Prepare & Use
A rounded dessert spoon of grounds per cup makes the perfect filter pot or cafetiere of coffee. If its too strong for your taste, just add a little hot water after brewing.
- If you're using a cafetiere, let the kettle come off the boil, then wet the grounds evenly with a little water before topping up. Give it 4 minutes, then plunge.
- To keep the flavours fresh, transfer brewed coffee to a thermos jug rather than leaving it on the hot plate.
- Make sure your coffee maker is clean as coffee oil build-up will taste stale

A bit disappointing
I really wanted this to be a good flavoured coffee, but it was very disappointing. First of all, it smells like an ashtray, even once it is brewed, and then it is lacking in any depth of flavour.
