Rapeseed Oil

I was baffled when my favorite brand of rapeseed oil was discontinued. A search for 'rapeseed oil' showed only a couple of expensive brands. Something was not right. After searching for 'oil', 'cooking oil' etc. I discovered this 'vegetable oil'. It is actually 100% rapeseed oil, made in Belgium, as was the previous brand I used to order. The label on the bottle lists only rapeseed oil, no other ingredients. It is the same color, consistency and taste as the previous brand of rapeseed oil I used to order. In other words, this is not a blend of vegetable oils. This is pure rapeseed oil.

Guaranteed palm oil free?

While online ingredients state rapeseed oil, bottle label doesn't state the type of oil, so as a consumer I can't be sure that it's not palm oil. I don't want to support the palm oil business if I can help it - forest clearing endangers orangutans & contributes significantly to global warming & carbon loss from ecosystems.

great for any use

This oil is lovely for any type of frying shallow or deep, it has a non intrusive flavour and smell (as I dont like oil that overpowers the taste of the food or that smells when hot).
