Produced from black hooved Iberico pigs that roam freely in Spanish oak woodlands, grazing on wild plants and herbs. During the autumn, the pigs double their weight feeding on acorns (bellota).This diet gives Iberico Bellota shoulder its distinct flavour.The Iberico shoulder is cured to perfection then hung in cellars to slowly mature for a minimum of 24 months. To appreciate the full flavour and aroma of this paleta, please remove the pack from the refrigerator and open 30 minutes before serving. Produced from free range pigs which roam on the dehesa of Spain.

very tasty but expensive

I bought this a few times. It is very tasty and we couldn't stop eating in both times. Prefer a little smaller package with a little less cost.
