Mmm scrummy 😋. Lovely soft fluffy crumpets delicious with butter, marmite & some flavoursome cheddar.

Not like they used to be

Recipe or the way these crumpets are packaged seems to have changed recently. Once they are toasted they seem stale, as if they are at least a week old - not fresh and spongy

So much better than own brand

Sorry Ocado, but I much prefer these to your own brand. They are tastier and more evenly golden. Often on special, too, which helps to save the pennies.
