Dry and crumbly

The bread was delivered on a Saturday with a best before date of the Sunday. I made a sandwich on the Saturday and thought it was very dry and not much taste. Used it on the Sunday to make a BLT and it fell apart in my hands as I ate the sandwich. Far too dry and turned to mush when wet. Never again

tasty healthy bread

Being a white bloomer it has a very low sugar content. My husband is on low sugar diet due to rising blood sugar levels. This is an excellent product to stay healthy.

In two minds....

I ordered this, along with ham and cheese, with the intention of making some yummy sandwiches. For this purpose, though, this bread was really disappointing - dry, tasteless and almost stale, within an hour of it being delivered. Not good. However, as other reviewers have said, toasted it's really good. So much so that I've gone from being disgruntled enough to write a review about how awful it is, to thinking I'll probably order it again, just for toast.

not very fresh

Great sized slices, unfortunately they didn't taste very fresh on opening the day after being delivered, and was stale the day after that.

Very difficult to find bread without soya flour added - and this one makes lovely toast
