Complex Carbs - never hungry!
If you want go all the to 2pm without lunch and no snacks this is perfect. Big oats, slow release energy all morning. The perfect health treat.... Brilliant quality. Dont expect them to soften - they arent milled.

Odd bits in product
Tried this twice - felt like small bits in cooked oats, granddaughter also spat it out

I don't like them
To be fair they are what they say - jumbo oats. When cooked they don't soften, never go creamy and basically are unpleasant to eat for the same reasons. I will not be buying them again as I like my porridge soft and creamy and not runny with huge oats in them.

I think they're yummy!
Not sure why people have rated this badly, I guess everyone has different tastes, but I really like them! They go wonderfully creamy, yet still have a good texture. Personally, I've not found any husks. Great quality!

Make a batch at the weekend – then make topping changes through the week. Try adding seasonal fruits such as strawberries in summer and chopped Cox’s apples in September – here’s our suggestions: Topping 1 2 tbsp dried cranberries 1 tbsp pistachio nuts, roughly chopped Topping 2 25g blackberries 25g raspberries Topping 3 25g pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

Blackberry and Apple Flapjack
Flapjack is a good food for school lunchboxes and snacks, made with oats which are slow release carbs plus helping towards your Five a Day with apples and blackberries. Easy to make, supervise younger children if you allow them to use the stove top otherwise let them prepare the fruit and weigh out the ingredients. If you can't get hold of jumbo oats then double the quantity of rolled oats.

Very tasty porridge
This is my favourite porridge - cooked slowly with half milk, half water, it has a lovely creamy texture, and feels more satisfying than porridges made with finer oats.
