Storage
Keep refrigerated below 4C. For use by date see front of pack. Once opened consume within 2 days. Cool any leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours and consume within 2 days. Do not exceed use by date. Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month. Defrost fully before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.
Prepare & Use
Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry Oven cook: Electric 180C 1 hour 20mins Fan 160C 1 hour 20mins Gas gas 4 1 hour 20mins . Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place guinea fowl on its side in a roasting tray in centre of oven, half way through cooking, turn onto other side and reduce heat to 170C/Gas mark 3 (150C for fan oven). Cook thoroughly until juices run clear and there is no pink meat. Stand for 10 minutes before carving.

The best
I really do find it hard to go for chicken now - this has twice the flavour - fantastic!

Bird was battered and bruised
Visible bruises on the bird. it was badly packed traping some skin and flesh between the top plastic cover and the base. The meat was very tough, obviously an old bird. Will stick to getting our Guinea Fowl else where in future, very dissapointing and almost inedible.

Much tastier than chicken!
Cooks in 1 hour and 20 mins in the oven, serves three generously with enough left over for a sandwich the next day and, best of all, the flavour and texture are superb. Juicy, rich meat, crispy golden skin. And it's free range!

Great for 2!
Took backbone out and spatchcocked it and marinated in soy, chilli, honey and dash of balsamic! Great bird and able to take strong flavours! Good buy and little waste.
