Decent
Not sure about other comments about there not being much fish, as the ingredients list specifies 15% so it can't really be a surprise! I find this tasty enough for an easy dinner served with some veg. The sauce is nice, and I like that it can be microwaved if I don't want to put the oven on. Good value when on offer, I always pick up a couple to have in the freezer for emergencies.
Cheap but cheerful
Decent fish pie not much fish but tasty sauce ok for a lunchtime snack .
Great for the price
Nice convenient low calorie comfort good. We have with heinz reduced salt sugar beans and very tasty. Works better oven cooked and give 40 minutes rather than 35 in fan oven.
Not great for many reasons
So, I didnt expect a lot, but even the basics are missing. First, the cooking time ended and the centre was still actually frozenI advise stirring half way through and adding a minute or two. Secondly, theres literally two pieces of fish, its pretty dire. Thirdly, it is actually pretty bland, cheap or not, this is a bit disappointing. The only saving grace is the low calories, so ideal for someone doing VLC diets.
Extremely bland
Contained about half a dozen tiny pieces of fish. The mashed potato was completely tasteless. Very disappointing. Really resent wasting all that electricity cooking this revolting meal.
Handy and Tasty.
We always keep a few Young's Admiral's Pies in the freezer. Definitely not a gourmet product (heavy on the mash, light on the fish) but they're handy to have around and make a low-cal, tasty meal if you don't fancy cooking. Steamed broccoli and sweet corn are our go-to accompaniments.
